Illinois Controlled Substances license renewal requires CME
The State of Illinois recently passed a law that requires all prescribers with a controlled substance license to complete 3 hours of accredited continuing education on proper prescribing of opioids when renewing their license. http://www.ilga.gov/legislation/publicacts/100/PDF/100-1106.pdf.
